That's because spending too much time using the computer can cause back problems, hand and wrist problems and even eye problems. Most people are likely to have all these problems because they spend too much time on their computers, forgetting to take breaks from time to time. Fortunately, there are some applications that can remind you that it's time to take a break. Rest Break is one of those programs.

This is a simple Windows application that displays a pop-up message from time to time, reminding you to take a break. The text of the message and the interval of time when the message is sent can be configured using the program's options section. The interface is very simple to use and so is the program's installer.

After launching the application, the user will be displayed a simple interface, which shows the time remained till a message will be received on the screen. If the user doesn't want to be disturbed with a pop-up message, he can configure the program to play an audible reminder, letting him know that it's time for a break. Using the program's options section, the user can configure the program to run together with Windows and to start minimized.

The sound reminder can be configured, by choosing one of the sounds included in the application. Besides that, both the pop-up message and the audible message can be set to play at the same time, making sure that the user will get the message. What's more, the interval of time when the message should be received can be configured. There is also a preview button available, for making sure that the message will be properly received.
